Historical Notes: Giuseppe Palumbo talked about the disappearance of this menhir in 1955. According to the Archive Deposito SBAP: Destruction of ancient monuments, the monolith was found lying on the ground; in 1952 it was re-erected and placed in a dry wall. The menhir was identified in May 1955 by M. Bernardini on the road Acaja-Vanze. It was a rectangle with the following dimensions: height 2.00 metres, long side 0.45 metres, short side 0.32 metres. In 1958 the megalith was nestled in the perimeter wall of the field called Crucicchie, belonging to the local parish of Santissimo Sacramento.
