Description: The dolmen is situated inside an olive grove, in a plot of land surrounded by a dry wall where a small stone quarry stands. It is made of blocks of local tuffy sand. Its capstone is quadrangular, its sides are irregular and it has a hole on the external surface of approximately 14 cm diameter. The slab, with irregular thickness, is supported by 6 monolithic orthostates. On the West side an orthostate is missing and there are fragments of stone on the ground. On the SW part there are roots from a tree. The West orthostate is broken at approximately 1/3 from the base.    Fragments have been inserted to support the capstone.

Dimension: Altezza da m 0.90 a m 1.25 larghezza m 1.96, profondità m 2.15. Lastra di copertura di forma irregolare con lati di m 1.96 x 1.60 x 1.58 x 2.15 spessore: da m 0.17 a m 0.40. Sei pilastri monolitici P1 - m 0.90 x m 0.93 P2 - m 1.15 x m 0.86 P3 - m 0.60 x m 0.92 P4 - m 1.12 x m 0.70 P5 - m 0.53 x m 0.79 P6 - m 0.58 x m 0.27
Direction: Ingresso rivolto a Nord-Ovest
Historical Notes: It was discovered by G. Palumbo in December 1909. In the Historical Archive of the SBAP it appears in the enforcement order (1910) of the restrictions, called ‘Dolmen in contrada Lo Zoppo’.
